General Description:

This is a larger understory suckering Chamaedorea.  It like some humidity and looks its best in deep shade.  It is a great unusual addition to a palm garden.

Other Notes:

This is a very rare palm that is hard to find.  It makes large cluster, which can be propagated.  It is certainly one of the nicer "bamboo palms"  and should be able to grow throughout most of California.
