Thailand & Malaysia

Cold Hardiness: 

About freezing (32º F.), slightly better than  J. altifrons.

Trunk type:

Essentially, no trunk.

Leaf type:

Solid, simple, underside silver colored

Suckering/Solitary:

Single trunk.

Maintenance:

Easier than J. altifrons but not easy.

Speed of growth:

Slow

Height:

To about 10 feet

Soil requirements:

Rich, well-drained, moist

Sun Requirements:

Shade

General Description:

A gorgeous solid leaf plant loved by everyone.  It has a bit of a petiole and is silver under the leaves, making it different from J. altifrons.

Other Notes:

A superb choice for those who can grow it
