Cold Hardiness:

Trunk type:

Slender clean green trunk.

Leaf type:

  Fan leaf.

Suckering/Solitary:

Solitary (single trunk).

Maintenance:

It is somewhat difficult to grow.  Likes moderate water.

Speed of growth:

Moderate.

Height:

50 feet (takes a long time)

Soil requirements:

Rich  (high in organics and nutrients) quick draining soil.

Sun Requirements:

Partial to full sun.

General Description:

This is a great fan palm.  It a beautiful green trunk with white rings.  It is one of the few Livistonas that have this quality.  We have found it to be a difficult grow in Southern California because of our cold weather.  

Other Notes:

There are other beautiful Livistonas that are much easier to grow.
