This article describes Bromeliads and how to use them in the landscape.  Shown below are lots of plants at the nursery.  This group of interesting plants are an easy to grow companion plant that can beautify the garden with all colors of the rainbow and require minimal care and water.  Also shown below are examples of the the continually changing Bromeliad inventory we have at Jungle Music.

Introduction

Bromeliads are flowering monocot plants that are native to all areas of the Americas and few other areas.  There are over fifty genera and almost 4000 species.  Enthusiasts are also creating continually scores of hybrids for the nursery market.  There are epiphytic types of Bromeliads that live in trees, on trunks, poles/ fences or almost anywhere overhead.  But, there are some terrestrial species that root into the ground.  The information below shows how this group of plants can be used in the landscape.  They add instant color and are low maintenance.  Also shown are photos of Bromeliad inventory we're have presently at the nursery.  Be aware our offerings of these plants change almost weekly with new types of Bromeliads continually coming in.
