When you order plants on the Internet, sometimes it's a gamble about what you'll receive. On request we willingly send pictures of the actual plant you'd be receiving. We do it for customers daily.

See What You're Getting Before You Purchase

Internet purchasing is sometimes quite a gamble for the customer. You're often buying from someone you don't know and you're never certain as to whether you can trust the sender. We go out of our way to make sure you're comfortable with any plant you'd be getting by mail order. In business since 1977, we willingly can and many times do send pictures of the actual plant or plants you are buying. So, before you pay, you know exactly what the plant looks like. We have been emailing pictures to customers for almost fifteen years. Typically our clients really like that we do this for them.

Other great things about our mail order service include:

1. Prompt shipping. If you call in the morning, we often ship the same day.
2. We ship plants most often in their container with soil. As we are a California Certified Nursery, we are legally allowed to do this. Most nurseries can't do this as they are not certified for shipping. With this type of shipping, your plants suffer essentially no immediate losses and don't have that dreaded one year set back.
3. We do a very professional and protected method of shipping. Plants are boxed with stakes and totally protected.
4. We utilize Federal Express for almost all of our orders and has less than a 1/2 of one percent delivery delays or mishaps.
5. We follow up with you to make sure you're satisfied with your plants and that they arrived safely. No one does this!
6. We take all the usual credit cards and include your receipt and all the required Agricultural Permits with the order.
7. When you call us to order, we tell you about the species, its cultural needs and when you should receive your order.
8. Plants typically arrive in excellent condition, looking just like they did when we sent them.

SUMMARY:

We feel that we do everything we can to satisfy the customer and make him comfortable with his order. We do this so he'll know exactly what he's getting before it arrives. Our shipping and packing is as good as anyone in the nursery trade. And, our shipping is reliable and quick. If you are ordering lots of plants or plants too big for Federal Express, we can also ship pallets of plants utilizing independent truckers. We do this all the time. Transit time is about the same as Federal Express ground service.

customers about culture and make sure they are buying the right species. It's sort of like a free "phone consult".
