Probably China

Cold Hardiness: 

Similar to T. fortunei, probably less than 10 degrees, F.

Hairy, fibrous.

Easy, like full sun

Speed of growth:

very slow

Height:

Less than ten feet typically.  A plant with five feet of trunk is typically 20 years old.

Full sun; can die if gets shaded out.

General Description:

A stiff but small leaf fan palm that is sought after because of small size and excellent cold hardiness.

Other Notes:

Hard to find.  Very cute small leaves.

Further Data:

A plant with 4 feet of trunk could be ten to twenty years old.
